After a historic, unprecedented thirty-one-month absence of not having been able to host an in-person AGM, Tuesday, May 31, had MARTA members out to gather, become informed and updated and, especially, to socialize and enjoy a delicious meal. Approximately one-third of the branch membership was in attendance and, judging from the many, pleasant smiles and lighter moments shared, they certainly enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion, Chatham Branch No. 3, for having catered this important event so finely, and to Noreen Bonnell, 1st Vice President of NBSRT, who brought greetings from the Provincial Executive and made it a special point to be in attendance.
