Tuesday, November 29th yielded a wonderful gathering for approximately sixty members of MARTA, as they enjoyed friendly fellowship and a delicious meal at the 2022 Fall AGM and Dinner, hosted at the Renous Recreation centre and catered by their local kitchen volunteers.

Bob Fitzpatrick brought greetings, as President of NBSRT. Being from Miramichi and having taught in the area for a number of years, he was more than pleased to be able to be in attendance, among many familiar former colleagues and friends.

Following the business meeting and a superb roast turkey dinner, members were invited to partake in a guided tour of the new Kraft Hockeyville Arena and Extreme Fitness Centre, both of which have been equipped with a complete top-quality retrofit and equipment. It was evident from the informative tour, just how much dedication, sponsors and volunteerism it took the local communities to have attained this outstanding accomplishment, which is for the health, fitness and recreation of people of all ages in the area. It is an absolutely incredible asset of stellar facilities for the area!

It was an immense pleasure for MARTA members to have had the opportunity to enjoy both the fine hospitality bestowed upon them, as well as to view the astounding new Kraft Hockeyville arena and extreme fitness centre. The sunny, crsip weather of a late fall day, was an added bonus, which made for a pleasant, scenic commute for members who attended.
