MARTA hosted an afternoon Irish Bowling Party at the Golden Hawk Bowling Lanes, on March 16. Although it was a small group of 10, consisting of 8 members and 2 guests, the Irish dispositions of mirth and fun for all were present in abundance.
The great conversations, humour, and laughter may have caused the occasional gutter ball, but the results at the end of the afternoon certainly were not at all diminished:

Low single – Patsy Kingston
It was a fine time, whereby everyone went away a winner!
On a sad note, this was our last time for MARTA members to bowl at the Golden Hawk, as the facility will be closing in the near future. Anyone who attended our bowling parties always had a great time and we will miss this event going forward. A big thank you to Marjorie MacPhee and Maria Brown for help making it possible to host bowling for our group!
