The local volunteer group, Miramichi Supports Ukraine, is seeking new participants and is reaching out to the members of MARTA and all retired teachers to consider becoming involved. It is felt that given the objectives and goals of the committee, retired teachers possess ideally suited skill-sets and much wisdom, from their many years of professional experience. Hence, they would bring much to the committee’s initiatives and endeavors.
