Thank you to all of those MARTA members who were able to attend the Welcome Back Breakfast at The Portage, this morning, Tuesday, September 7th. After an eighteen-month- period of being unable to gather together and socialize, it was fantastic to have had an almost full house, with very few empty seats. The smiling faces and constant hum of conversation were fine indications of a contented group, all of whom who were enjoying their morning.
A very bright spot of the morning was the attendance of several new retirees of 2020 and 2021, including two of whom joined today. Welcome to the MARTA Branch of NBSRT! Let’s remain optimistic that this was only the first of more scheduled events throughout the year!
