MARTA offers a $1000.00 Scholarship to a graduate at one of the four high schools located in District 16. This scholarship is awarded yearly, and rotates among Blackville High School, James M. Hill High School, Miramichi Valley High School, and North and South Esk High School.
Although not required, it is preferred that the student plans to pursue a career in the field of education. In addition, a $300.00 Bursary is awarded to a graduate at each of the five high schools.
